Adam M. Jones, 77, of Hancock, NY, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at home. He was born on December 3, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Adam and Margaret (Yerkes) Jones. Adam retired from Hancock Central School as a security guard. He loved his daily trips to McDonalds to have coffee with his friends. In his earlier years, he enjoyed woodworking and building small things. Surviving are his wife, Kathy, 2 sons, Leslie and significant other, Nicole, and Aaron and wife Jennifer Jones, 2 sisters, Marion Hartmann and Helen Possemato, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Harry Jones. Adam's final request was for cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
