Alice B. Francisco, 91, died on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Alice was born on September 8, 1933 in Endicott, NY, the only daughter of Walter T. And Gertrude M. (Shaffer) Augustine.

Alice married Max Francisco on October 3, 1953. They built their home in Hancock, where they raised four children.

Alice graduated from Hancock Central School and Ridley- Lowell School of Business in Binghamton, NY. She worked as a secretary at Bard Parker and was a member of the Hancock Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Deposit Flying Club. She loved to crochet, put together jigsaw puzzles, reading, and bingo. Alice enjoyed going to the beach and watching football and college softball on TV. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren in their school activities, especially sports. They were the lights of her life.

Surviving are her children: Maxine (Paul) Kovalkoski, Melissa (Chris) Newman, and Timothy Francisco; grandchildren: Caitlin and Kyle Kovalkoski, Nina (Josh) Banicky, Lea and Cole Newman, Sierra and Ava Francisco, Melinda (Dale) Conklin, Autumn (Greg) Nibert, and Nash Francisco; great grandchildren: Max and Shane McAndrew, Rowan and Stryker Conklin, and Lillian and Rylee Banicky. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Max, and son, John (Jack) Francisco.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 2PM-4PM with a time of remembrance at 4PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Hancock.
