Allison Jaye Greenberg Thompson, 57, of Fishs Eddy, passed away Saturday, March 27th, 2021. She was born December 11th, 1963 in Englewood New Jersey to Alvin Greenberg and Paula (Blash) Greenberg. Allison graduated from Teaneck High school in the class of 1981 and went on to study at Bergen Community College in Paramus New Jersey. Allison then went on to live on a Kibbutz in Israel from 1984 to 1985. Allison married John Thompson on August 22nd, 1992, raised two beautiful children, Andrew and Molly and was a soon to be grandmother. Allison was a loving person full of life, she loved camping and took great pride in her children. She could always be found with a book in her downtime. Surviving are her husband, John, her two children, brother and wife Ross Greenberg, brother and wife Eric Greenberg, sister and husband Jessica Vierno, three brother-in-laws and wives and 11 nieces and nephews. Allison is predeceased by her mother, father, mother-in-law Delores (Cuervo) Thompson, and father-in-law William Thompson. Allison wished to be cremated and will have a celebration of life on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel in Hancock, NY, from 1PM-4PM. All CDC and State guidelines will be followed, including the mandatory use of facial coverings and social distancing. If necessary, please be prepared to wait outside before entering the funeral home due to capacity restrictions. Also, please be prepared to pay your respects in a timely manner.
