Amanda S. Szymanosky, 24, of Lakewood, PA, died on Friday, April 8, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on November 19, 1991 in Susquehanna, PA, the daughter of Chester Szymanosky and Peggy Wormuth. Amanda graduated from Hancock Central School in 2010 with High Honors. She attended BOCES for Heavy Equipment Operation. Amanda will be remembered as a spunky, red headed, "firecracker". Surviving are her 3 children, whom she loved dearly, Seth, Tessa, and Emma Tanner, and their father, Stephen Tanner, her mother, who she referred to as "Mama", Peggy Wormuth, maternal grandfather, David (Joy) Wormuth, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Chester Jr. , paternal grandparents, Chester Sr., and Carol Szymanosky, and Betty Szymanosky, and maternal grandmother, Ruth Wormuth. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4-6PM with a service following at 6PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
