Anne V. Arnoldine

Anne V. Arnoldine, of Hancock, NY, died on Friday, October 9, 2026, just 6 days shy of her 100th birthday and the last of 8 children. She was born in Manhattan, NY, the daughter of William A. and Angelina (Bruno) Vitale. Anne married Tony Arnoldine on April 22, 1951 and he predeceased her on January 9, 1985.

Anne was employed as a bookkeeper for Milt Phillips until her and Tony eventually purchased Phillips Appliances in 1973 and changed the name to T&A Home Center. They ran the business for several years until Tony’s death in which Anne continued to operate it and retired in 1994. She was an avid golfer and loved to cook and bake. Anne was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Hancock.

Surviving are 4 children: Marty, Patty (Al) Martin, Gina (Jim) Rotzler, and Gary (Robin) Arnoldine; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all her siblings: Dominic, Sam, Frank, John, Carme, and Rocky Vitale, and Rose Jost.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 10AM-12PM with a service following at 12PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hancock.
