Audrey Jessie Ritt, age 80, passed away at her home in Ocala, Florida on March 21, 2018 with the loving support of her partner Dee and her daughters, Carol and Lorraine. She was born November 16, 1937 in Valley Cottage, NY to August and Minerva (Cox) Ritt, and raised by her loving step-mother, Gladys ( Madsen) Ritt. Audrey was an exemplary employee with a dedicated work ethic. She was the very first woman initiated into the The Littleton Elks Lodge 1650, Colorado. She retired in 2000 from The City of Denver, CO, traffic court as a Collections Investigator. Those with traffic violations came to know her winning smile, humor, and stubborn attachment to the business at hand. She had an interest in local landmarks and frequently brought visiting family to see them. Vero Beach, Fl and Shalom Park in Ocala were favorite places for contemplation and peace of mind. She never missed sending a Christmas or birthday card and treasured every card or letter received from others. She had a contagious and heartwarming smile and used humor to engage family, friends and strangers along her way. Audrey was preceded in death by brothers Robert and Frederick Ritt, niece Wendy Ritt, nephew Robbie Ritt and grandchild Thereasa Raggi. She is survived by her partner of 22 years, Francis Dee Caprez, her devoted loving dog friend Buddy, a brother, Alan Ritt and wife Jonnette, sister in law, Dorothy Ritt, her 5 children with former spouse, Thomas Raggi, Carol (Raggi) Judge with John Wilkinson, Thomas and wife Mildred Raggi, Denise Raggi, Lorraine Raggi with Kaveh Khazdonian and Terrence Raggi with Molly Perry, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, 6 nieces and 1 nephew. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 1:00 pm at Henderson- Biedekapp Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
