Bonnie Lee Mason, age 69, a beloved figure of Walton, NY, sadly left our world on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, while being cared for and comforted by her grandson PJ and wife Taytum and under the care of hospice.

Preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Juanita (Monk) Mason, sisters Diane Bojo and Jessie Ann Chapman, and leaving a legacy through her sons Jesse (Loredana) Mason, and Aaron Mason; grandchildren Peter (PJ) J. Mason (Taytum), Jesse J. Mason, Bonnie L. Mason, & Jacob J. Mason; great-granddaughter Autumn Mason; boyfriend Robert Kafarski; siblings, Peter L. Mason (Jennifer Davis) and Joe (Karen) Mason; aunt, Linda Magnoni; several nieces and nephews, and brothers in law, Francis Bojo and Leonard Chapman.

Bonnie was a natural caretaker who raised her grandson PJ. Also, in her youth, she cared for hospice patients. Bonnie was a lover of animals, especially kittens and her bird Nick. Bonnie also enjoyed playing games on the internet while enjoying a cup of coffee.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, June 15th 2024 from 1PM-2PM followed by a memorial service at 2PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock. Following the graveside service, we would like you to join us at the American Legion to share stories and remember our beloved Bonnie.
