Brigitte I. D'Agati, 73, of Starrucca, PA, died on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at home. She was born on September 2, 1940 in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Martin and Irmgard Beers. Brigitte married Paul D'Agati on December 29, 1990 in Honesdale, PA. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Lake Como, the Starrucca Bag Ladies, and she loved bingo and spoiling her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Paul, son, Michael and wife Teri Dieckmann, 7 grandchildren, Megan, Shawna, Caitlyn, Tosha, Johnell, Tony, and Patrick. She is also survived by a sister, Ilsa Schleischer, brother, Peter Beers, and many nieces and nephews. Brigitte was predeceased by a brother, Gunter Beers. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 7-9 at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. There will be a funeral service on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 11AM also at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
