Carl J. Hendrickson, Sr, 61, of Starlight, PA, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at home, after an illness. He was born on September 11, 1957 in Hancock, NY, the son of Bert and Beatrice (Stark) Hendrickson. Carl married Ziona Fuller on March 15, 1986 at his brother, Garys home on Peas Eddy Rd, Hancock. Carl was a good man with a heart of gold who worked hard and loved his family. He helped so many without asking for anything in return. Carl enjoyed fishing with his "boys". He will be deeply missed. Surviving are his wife, Ziona, 2 sons, Carl John Jr. and fiance Jade Stauffer, and Joshua Zane, his 7 siblings, Ina Haynes, Laura Thomas, William and wife, Laura Hendrickson, Ray Hendrickson and partner, Pamela Peck Cooper, Bert and wife, Mary Hendrickson, Edith Krayna, and Ruthie and husband, Dale Winans. He is also survived by many many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Carl was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Betty Vestal, and a brother, Gary Hendrickson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 6:00-7:30 with a short memorial service to follow at 7:30 all to be held at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
