Caroline R. "Carrie" Keesler, 82, of East Branch, NY, died on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton, NY, after a long illness. She was born on August 13, 1933 in Long Eddy, NY, the daughter of Peter and Clarissa (Brigham) Leroy. Carrie married Glenn "Coop" Keesler on May 19, 1950 and he predeceased her on April 22, 2009. She was a member of the East Branch Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and the East Branch Methodist Church. She loved Bingo and watching games shows on TV.Surviving are 6 children and their spouses, Pat and Roy, Pam and George, Donna and Johnnie, Glenn Jr., and Sally, Rodney and Heather, and Bobby and Lori, 24 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Carrie was predeceased by a daughter, Glenna Lee, and 8 siblings. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 8th, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 at 9:30AM at the East Branch United Methodist Church with Pastor Joanne Utley officiating. Interment will follow in East Branch Cemetery, East Branch.Donations can be made in Carrie's memory to the East Branch/Harvard United Methodist Church, P.O.
