Catherine Amanda Tucker, 59, of Lake Como, PA, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 after a short illness. She was born on September 3, 1957 in Carlsbad, NM, the daughter of Robert and Constance (Chaney) Tucker. Cathy was a legal secretary for the Law Offices of James D. Ward for the last 12 years, and for the previous owner, Ed Gartel, for several years.Cathy had a very upbeat and happy personality. She had a great love for her family and her pets, loved family get togethers and cooking. She also loved to spend time outside planting and tending to her flower gardens, as well as feeding and admiring the hummingbirds.Surviving are her fiance, Shawn Darling; their 3 children, Cari Covell and her husband Alex Covell, Chelsea Darling, and Shawn Michael Darling and his wife Michelle (Phoenix) Darling; 4 grandchildren, Shayden and Bryson Covell and Amelia and Paizlee Darling; mother and father in law, Carolyn Darling and Harry Teurschler; a sister, Drucilla Tucker Bull, married to Tony Bull; a brother, Robert Verne Tucker, married to Rose Tucker; a step mother, Mary Tucker; brothers and sisters in law, Edwin and Julie Darling, Denise Darling, Laurie and Bruce Bennett, Linda and Daniel Whitmore and Stephanie Darling and Frank Leonard. Cathy is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Sofia and Robbie Tucker, Robert Stirling Bull, Amy Smith, Andrew Patrick Bull, Jennifer Elisabeth Bull, Stephanie Bull Tipton, Vanessa and Victoria Darling, Alyssa, Katelynn, and Alexis Bennett, Evan Whitmore and Nicholas Leonard. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Robert Tucker and Constance Chaney Tucker; paternal grandparents, Robert and Ethel Tucker; and maternal grandparents, Verne and Adelaide Chaney. Calling hours were held on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 1-3PM with a memorial service following at 3PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
