Charlene A. Spry, of Hancock, NY, passed away on March 25, 2019 unexpectedly at home. She was born in Binghamton, NY, the daughter of Edward and Evelynn Berriman. Charlene worked as a housekeeper for many years at Scott's Family Resort on Oquaga Lake in Deposit, NY. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Gary P. Spry Sr., 4 children, Clarissa (John) Terrell, Lisa (Shawn) Smith, Gary P. Spry, Jr., and Bradley (Jacqueline) Spry, 10 grandchildren, Justin (Elizabeth) Polomcean, Cassandra Letosky, Jason Spry, Cierra (Curtis) DAgati, Sara Smith, Jordan Spry, Janelle Airwyke, Bradley Spry Jr., Mia Spry, and Dominic Spry, and 2 great grandchildren, Greyson DAgati and Gavin Polomcean. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Beatrice (Duane) Codington and Florence Clark, 2 brothers, Richard Berriman and Charles Springer, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Charlene was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Brenda Springer. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 2019, at 1PM in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock, NY, with Pastor Paul Cicio officiating. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charlenes memory to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life at- Relay for Life of Delaware County Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
