Charles F. Esolen, 94, of Hancock, died on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the NYS Veterans Home, Oxford. He was born on March 20, 1921 in Cadosia, the son of Michael and Beatrice (DaVaney). Charlie was a barber for over 60 years. Surviving are his wife of many years, Dorothy (Decker) and her family, 1 sister, Maddy Gorton, 1 brother in law, Jim Poe, and many nieces and nephews. Charlie was predeceased by 2 sisters, Eileen Hartgrove and Eveleen Poe, and 2 brothers, Michael and John Douglas Esolen. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 5-8 at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock . There will be a committal service in St. Paul's Cemetery, Hancock, on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 1PM.Donations can be made in Charlie's memory to the Hancock Rescue Squad, P.O.
