Charles Philip "Phil" Faigle, Starlight, PA, passed away on June 25th, 2024, at Ellen Memorial Nursing Home. He was 92.
Born February 1, 1932, as the fifth of eight children near Winterdale, PA, Phil was predeceased by his parents, "Herb" and Gwen Faigle, along with his brothers, Keith and Wilbur Faigle; and his sisters, Lois Kulesza and Alice Allen. He is survived by 3 remaining siblings, Larry Faigle, Adah (Roger) Taylor, and Mary Williams, and their respective children. Phil is survived by three children: David Faigle, Faye (Carmen) Sander, and Stephanie (Clark) Fauser; along with 3 grandsons: Jacob Faigle, Charley (Elias) Faigle, and Mitchell McHugh; one great granddaughter, Yasmine Faigle; as well as two step-daughters, Audrey O'Brien and Linda (Terrance) O'Brien.
Phil spent his life in Starlight, PA, and Hancock, NY. After graduation, he served the Korean War as a Corporal in the US Army, Artillery Unit. He was married to Marilyn Sander on May 29th, 1958, and together, they started a long haul trucking business in Starlight, PA. After their divorce, 20 years later, Phil continued to operate the business until his retirement. Phil's love of trucks and the trucking business was a defining characteristic of his life.
Private family interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Balls Eddy Cemetery, Starlight, PA.
