Chris Raymond Ebert, 67, of East Branch, NY, died suddenly on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at home. He was born on September 16, 1957 in Hancock, NY, the son of Vincent and Esther (Wormuth) Ebert.

Chris was a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and loved camping in the 1000 Islands. His favorite place was the "farm" and he enjoyed rides with the mule to Elk Brook. He attended the Readburn Assembly of God, where he helped with the food bank, and occasionally attended the East Branch Community Church. Over the last year, he worked in the Green Thumb program with the NYSDOT.

Surviving are his significant other, Anneliese Wren; 4 children: Danielle Hook (Nathan Shay), Christopher "Joe" Ebert (Anna Kern), James Ebert, and Jodi Ebert; 2 step daughters, Jasmine and Samantha Wren; 13 grandchildren, and 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 siblings: David Johnson, Julie (Jack) Vernold, and Elias Tucker (Margaret) Ebert, and many nieces and nephews. Chris was predeceased by his granddaughter, Kiera Ebert and 8 siblings: Butch, Anna, Walt, Debbie, Robert, Allen, Christina, and Clarence "Buster".

Chris' wishes were for cremation and there will be a family gathering at a later date.
