Christine A. Leonard, 57, of Hancock, NY, died on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Willow Point Nursing Home, Vestal, NY, after a long illness. She was born on March 27, 1963 in Monticello, NY, the daughter of Mario Robert Darder II and Alice (DeMayo) Long. Christine was a loving and giving person. She enjoyed time with her friends and going to the river. She especially loved her family and most of all, her grandchildren. Surviving are 2 children, Amy Tyrrell (Justin Burch), and Richard Leonard Jr, 5 grandchildren, Gaven, Trinity, and Serenity Hendrickson, and Felicity and Damon Tyrrell, 6 siblings, William and wife Lois Long, James Long, Mario Robert Darder III, Marguerite Long, Denise and husband John Dirig, and Lori and husband Ray Raub, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and son in law, Randy Hendrickson. Christine was predeceased by her parents, husband, Richard Leonard Sr, brother, Walter Long, and her nephew, Jason Long. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 1PM in the East Branch Cemetery, East Branch, NY.
