Christopher A. Whitney, 66, of Deposit, NY, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at home. He was born on July 18, 1957 in Johnson City, NY, the son of Brice and Ruth (Peaslee) Whitney.

Chris was a veteran, serving 4 years in the US Marine Corps and 12 years in the US Army.

Surviving are his wife, Stella; 5 daughters; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; his father; 3 sisters; 1 brother; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and 1 brother.
