Cindy Sue Giordano, of Preston Park, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of February 26th, 2018. Cindy was born January 10th, 1958 to Ronald and Agnes Whitney; the second of eight daughters. She graduated from Hancock High School. Later in life she returned to school attending Lackawanna College, where she obtained her Associates Degree in Business Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Theta Kappa. She has been a dedicated member of the Camp Wayne Staff for many years. Cindy was a lover of nature. She enjoyed photographing sunsets, birdwatching, and tending to her beautiful flower gardens. However, there was nothing she loved more than spending time with her grandkids. Cindy had a passion for research discovering her ancestry, tracing her family lineage back many generations. Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Giordano, her daughters Cara Kulikowski and Jennifer Mech, son Stephen Holland, son-in-law's Nathaniel Kulikowski and David Mech, and grandchildren Conner Holland, Logan and Emilia Kulikowski, and Olivia and Evan Mech. She is also survived by her mother, Agnes, seven sisters, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Ronald, and nephew, Eric Gotthardt. Friends and family are invited to calling hours Thursday, March 1st from 11-1 at Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel in Hancock, NY followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Como Cemetery, Lake Como, PA. Please join her family in celebration of her life at the Northern Wayne Fire Hall in Lakewood, PA, directly after the service.
