Dale Ann Whitmore, 79, of Windsor, NY, died peacefully on Sunday, July 19th, 2026, with her daughters, her beloved dog, Peanut, grandchildren, Mathew Schneider and Shannon Torek, and great grandchildren: Layton, Grayson, and Carson, at her side.

Dale Ann was born on January 5th, 1947 in Susquehanna, PA, the daughter of Nelson and Gertrude Whitmore. She was married to Paul Jasinski for 20 years before his death in 2008.

Dale enjoyed her flower gardens, visiting friends and family, reading, and browsing thrift stores.

Surviving are 4 children: April and James Stewart, Jon and Sondra Roberts, Joy and Norman Leonard, and Dean and Carrie Roberts; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Nelson Whitmore Jr. and Lugene Williams; and many nieces and nephews. Dale was predeceased by sisters: Evelyn Hoops, Florence Mead, Dona Curtis, Leona Kader, and Esther Thoma; and 1 brother, Dennis Whitmore.

The family would like to thank the hospice team that allowed our mother to remain in her home.

We thank them for their compassion and support they gave Dale and her daughter, Joy, which made it possible for mom to have her wish to be at her home with Peanut.

A memorial service will be planned in the future.
