David Lisnock, 76, of Starlight, Pa, formerly from Cranford, NJ passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday June 27, 2023 after a long battle with COPD.

David was born in Elizabeth, NJ to Grace and Andrew Lisnock and attended St. Benedicts Prep School in Newark where he was on the Wrestling team and earned his Eagle Scout Award, graduating in 1965. He went on to attend college at St. John's University in Collegeville, MN., graduating in 1970. It was there that he met and married Maribeth Anderson in 1968, the love of his life for almost 55 years.

David worked for Wakefern Food Corp in Elizabeth from 1970 until his retirement in 2002.

David enjoyed watching boxing, the Mets, Jets, Rangers and loved to watch his Grandson Andrew play hockey, but his favorite sport was Fly Fishing on his beloved West Branch of the Delaware.

On the wings of his Eagles, Dave and his Sage rod are wading the ultimate Trout streams in Heaven with his buddies Pat and Tony.."Tight Lines" boys..

He is survived by his wife, Maribeth, children Christine and Jeremy, Grandchildren Hondo, Lillian, Grace and Andrew, sister Suzanne Lisnock and BIL Kim Metcalf, BIL Jim and Rich Anderson, nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.

David requested a cremation and a gathering of friends and family to share memories of a remarkable husband, father and friend at a later date..
