David B. Menhennett, 55, of Hancock, died on Monday, July 27, 2015 at home. He was born on October 12, 1959 in Weatherford, TX, the son of David E. and Sharon (Somers) Menhennett. Dave married Patti Jung on May 9, 2009. Dave was definitely a people person. No matter how sick or how bad he felt he will be remembered for having a positive outlook and always laughing and joking. Surviving are his wife Patti, 2 children by marriage, daughter, Hope and husband, Billy Conkin, and their children, John David, Madison, and Gabriel, and son, David John Gerchman, father, David E., and his wife Joyce Menhennett, mother, Sharon Ostrander, sister, Tanya Menhennett, and 1 brother, Joshua and wife Jamie Ostrander. Dave is also survived by an uncle, Paul and wife Julie Somers, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, father-in-law, John Garrigan, mother in law, who loved him dearly, Emily Homer, sister in law, Theresa and husband Gary Shaffer, and special people in his life, uncle, Paul Menhennett, special niece, Heather Sanford, cousin, Matthew Menhennett, aunt, Georgia Capach, and many special friends. He was predeceased by step father, Harold Ostrander, and grandparents, Oakley and Martha Menhennett and Lawrence and Minnie Somers.
