Debbie Ann Mead gained her heavenly wings on September 22, 2021. She was born on August 7, 1961 in Honesdale, PA, to LeRoy and Thelma (Decker) Mead. Debbie found joy on earth planting flowers, cooking new foods, trips to the beach, and helping those in need. But most of all, Debbie found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren and being their Nema. Debbie leaves behind 2 children, Mikelle Mead of Hancock, NY, and Rachel (Raymond) Hobart of Stevens Point, PA, 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Alexis, Asaac, Rykin, Ryder, and Royal, several fur babies, 3 sisters, Rachel (Charles) Hunt, Rosie (Edward) Whitmore, and Judy Mead, 6 brothers, Fred (Joan) Mead, Teddy (Audrey) Mead, Tony (Lisa) Mead, Larry (Nancy) Mead, Stanley (Linda) Mead, Norm (June) Mead, 3 sisters in law, Joy Mead, Nan Mead, and Sheila Mead, and many nieces and nephews. Debbie was predeceased by both of her parents, 4 brothers, Bentley (and wife Pat), and Raymond, Leo, and Keith Mead, and her soulmate, Ronald "Sam" Phillips. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 2PM-4PM for the public and a memorial service will follow at 4PM for family only, all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
