On New Years Eve, Don left his home on earth and his loving family to start the new year with his eternal family. Don was born to Charles and Edna (Todd) Dart on August 29, 1945. On September 16, 1967, Don married his soul mate, Delores (Oles). Don was an Army Veteran, serving 3 years in Vietnam. He was a lifetime member fo the Unadilla Fire Department and Emergency Squad. He was also a lifetime member of the Unadilla Rod and Gun Club. Don is survived by his wife, Dee, who he cherished to no end, his two beloved daughters, Jessica (Ivan) Carson, and Carrie (David) Hall, granddaughter, Ashley (Jason), great grandchildren, Pippa, Willow, and Wyatt, and granddaughter, Serena (Bo) and great grandchildren, Miya, Ashton, and Harper. Also surviving are his sister, Roberta (Bobbi) VanDeusen, sister in law, Joni Miles, many nieces and nephews, and special friends, who are family, John and Jeannette Higley, Alex, Rebecca Gloeckler and children, Trenton and Katelyn. Don was predeceased by his parents, parents in law, four sisters, Ginny, Dodie, Peg, and Pat, brother, Dick, five brothers in law, Bucky, Hank, Cliff, Stewart, and Tommy, and his son in law, Scott Combs. Keeping with Dons wishes, there will be no services. A gathering will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in Dons memory to St. Judes Childrens Hospital at www.stjude.org.
