Douglas C. Hubbs, 71, of Hancock, NY, died on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at home after a battle with lung cancer. He was born on August 30, 1948 in The Bronx, NY, the son of William G. and Evelyn Hubbs. Doug grew up in Farmingdale, Long Island, NY. He retired from the NYC District Council of Carpenters and moved to Hancock, NY. He liked to socialize and he loved to tell stories and have a good time. Doug was a people person. He will be missed dearly by friends, family, and acquaintances. Surviving are his wife, Heidi and brother, Richard Hubbs. Special thanks goes to Helios Care for their compassion and caring support and also to family and friends for their support. Dougs wishes were for no services and burial to be held in Weehawken Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ, at a later date.
