Edward R. Akselrad, 67, of Hancock, NY, died suddenly on Friday, April 8, 2022 at home. He was born on August 25, 1954 in the Bronx, NY, the son of Izak and Diana Akselrad. Ed was a simple man. He enjoyed bowling in his earlier years. In recent years, he was content to sit on his friends porch and sell antiques and second hand items. He also had a love for animals. Ed is survived by a niece, Mary Akselrad; close friend, Donnie Marino; several other nieces, nephews, and extended family members as well as other friends around town. Ed was predeceased by his parents; 2 sisters, Louise and Ann; and 2 brothers, Alan and Zykmunt. Eds wishes were to be cremated. Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
