Eileen W. Banicky, 80, of Orson, PA, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, April 3, 2022 after a long illness. She was born on October 20, 1941 in Hancock, NY, the daughter of Russell and Winifred (Doyle) Neild. Eileen married the love of her life, George J. Banicky on June 16, 1962 at the Orson United Methodist Church, Orson, PA. Eileen graduated high school and then completed beauty school. She worked many years as a beautician and eventually owned her own business. She also worked as a postal clerk for almost 25 years but her greatest accomplishment was her family and their farm. She loved being in the barn alongside her husband, George and two sons Joe and Dave. She loved her time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of almost 60 years, George, 2 sons, Joseph (Pam) and David (Shiela Cashin); 5 grandchildren: Joshua (Nina), Thomas, Ashley (Keith), Dalen, and Darcy; 3 great grandchildren: Addyson, Keegen, and Lillian; sister, Norma Cole (Don); and 2 nieces, Linda and Audrey OBrien. She was predeceased by her mother and father. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 11:30AM- 1PM followed by a memorial service at 1PM all at the Shehawken United Methodist Church, 3 Scott Center Rd., Starrucca, PA 18462.
