Renee Whitehead passed away October 28, 2014 at just 42 years old. She will be sadly missed by her only son, Shane Whitehead and his fiance, Mindie Bullis and her grandson, Chase Whitehead, who was the light of her life. Renee will also be missed by her parents, Elaine Card and Dan Whitehead and her siblings, Alycia Jones, Megan and Phillip Card, a niece, Emilie McNally, her Aunt Lynne and Uncle Anthony Borovicka and cousin, Anthony Mayer, Uncle John and Aunt Mary Whitehead and extended Whitehead families. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Irene and Herb Messinger and Mima Renee Smith as well as her Uncle Ron Whitehead and Aunt Laurie Elmer. Renee lived most of her life in Newton, NJ, but has lived in Wayne County, PA for the past few years in order to be closer to her family. She was a fun-loving individual with a wonderful sense of humor. She had a heart of gold and a fierce protectiveness for those she loved. The most important thing to her was her family and those she thought of as family. She spent many years in the food service industry, but has been disabled the last several years. She suffered much over the last few years and her family takes comfort in knowing she will no longer have to endure pain and suffering. May she rest in peace in God's loving Kingdom!There will be 1 hour for visitation on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 3-4 with a funeral service following at 4 all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
