Elayna Grace Sanderson, 4, of East Branch, NY, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Memorial Sloan Kettering, NYC. She was born on August 21, 2020 in Johnson City, NY, the daughter of Michael Sanderson and Jennifer Appley.

Elayna loved bunnies, dressing up with her crowns and jewelry, gem mining, and visiting friends and family. She was known for cruising around in her pink Jeep, waving at everyone. She loved going to Crystal's house and trying on her jewelry! She always had a smile on her face and loved everyone regardless of what she was going through.

Surviving are her parents, Michael and Jennifer; 1 sister, McKayla Chilson; maternal grandparents, John Appley and Ginger Young; paternal grandfather, John Sanderson; maternal great grandmothers, Marie Young (Eugene Young-predeceased) and Carol Appley (Don Appley- predeceased); aunts and uncles: Melissa Moreno, Jason Moreno, Jeremiah Appley, and Joshua Appley; and many cousins. Elayna was predeceased by paternal grandmother, Edith Sanderson, and aunt, Patricia Sanderson.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 2-4PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. A celebration of Elayna's life will be held at a later date.
