Obituary

Elizabeth DaBrescia (nee Ford) passed away on July 6, 2017 at Susquehanna Nursing and Rehab Center. Liz was the youngest child of Michael and Teresa Ford born on February 5, 1921. A 1939 graduate of HCS she married Ralph DaBrescia during WWII and raised her family in the old family homestead on Old Bridge Street.An eternally pleasant and outgoing person she thoroughly enjoyed her family along with working outside the home for Fred R. Dix. Liz is survived by son Gerald and wife Kathleen, grandchildren Catherine and husband JB (Wakefield), Joseph and wife (Michele) DaBrescia and Jacqueline and husband Jose (Torres), Jeffery Davis along with her 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Ralph, granddaughter Andrea long with brothers Edward, John, and Joe, and sister Catherine. Survived by nephews, Ken, Richard, David, Dan, and Rick, along with nieces Nancy, Peggy, Cynthia, Donna and Patty along with numerous grandchildren Viewing hours are 6 to 8 PM on Monday at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Home with a funeral mass at St Pauls on Tuesday morning at 10:30. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Hancock. Tax deductible donations may be made to the Hancock Partners, 87 East Front St, Hancock, NY 13783 for maintenance of the Town Square.Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
