Elnora B. Barnes, 80, of Hancock, died on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Roscoe Nursing Home, Roscoe, NY. She was born on January 23, 1933 in Cadosia, the daughter of George and Sylvia (Lewis) Arnold. Surviving are 2 sons, George and Luke, 6 grandchildren, Jeremy, Katie, Josh, Todd, Luke Jr., and Stacy, and 3 great grandsons, Gavin, Garrett, and Brady Ronald. Elnora is also survived by 2 siblings, Grace Oralls and Wesley Arnold. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Barnes, a sister, Shirley Chesnick, and a brother William Arnold. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 1PM at the East Branch Community Church, East Branch, NY. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock. Donations can be made in Elnora's memory to the Hancock Fire Dept.
