Erban C. Travis, of Starlight, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 63.

Born on June 9, 1962, Erban was a strong and dedicated man who did everything he could for his family. He was known for his resilience, hardworking nature, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.

He worked for PENNDOT and Scott Township for many years, where he made many close friends and was respected by those he worked alongside.

Nothing brought him more joy than his granddaughters, Natalie and Sydney, who held a very special place in his heart. Known to them as “Pop Pop,” he cherished every moment they spent together and took great pride in being their grandfather. One of his greatest joys was taking them to the tractor parade, a tradition they shared that will forever be treasured.

Erban enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also had a strong interest in firearms and the traditions that came with them. These passions were a big part of who he was and how he connected with others.

Above all, Erban will be remembered as a devoted family man.

He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Laura Travis; his daughter, Demi Shannon, and son-in-law, Tyler Shannon; his granddaughters, Natalie and Sydney; and his son, Darren Travis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he cherished deeply.

He was predeceased by his parents, Clinton and Alice Travis, and his brothers, Rolland, Roger, and Harold.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.

Erban will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
