Eric F. Skinner, 51, of Hancock, NY, died suddenly on Sunday, March 26, 2023. He was born on August 26, 1971 to Ed and Clare (Homer) Skinner.

Eric worked most of his life in the Logging Industry with various employers. Eric took pride in his work whatever it might be. He enjoyed working on and repairing all type of mechanized equipment especially cars. In his later years Eric spent considerable time helping take care of his ailing father, with whom he was very close. Eric loved stock car racing and raced snowmobiles himself in his youth. Eric will be remembered as someone who would go out of his way to help just about anyone.

Surviving are his daughter, Harlee Kramer; granddaughter, Clare Kramer; brother, Mark (Lynn) Skinner; 2 nephews, Andrew and Alex Skinner; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Eric was predeceased by his mother and father; 2 aunts, Linda Kauffman and Judy Smith; and numerous extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 6:00PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. Burial will be at a later time in the Lord Family Cemetery, Lordville, NY.
