Eugene Thomas Foley, most people knew him as Gene, died in Jupiter, FL to be with his parents, sister and three brothers.
Gene was born in Morristown and grew up in Bernardsville, NJ. He is survived by his wife Eileen, two daughters, Ellen and Eileen and son Gene. He has five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Gene was very proud of his family and considered himself very lucky. He loved visiting with relatives. He was very successful and well thought of in advertising and won two CLIO Awards. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a champion basketball coach in the CYO. Gene worked in a camp for the children of the Allied Forces when he was in the Army during the Korean Conflict and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in NJ. He loved Frank Sinatra and never missed a Notre Dame football game.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 2-4 &7-9 with the Rosary at 8PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.The funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Hancock on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 12:30 PM. The burial will follow in Stockport Cemetery in Stockport, PA.
