On this day of 17, October, 2017, Evaline Beverly Sharp Solstad, also known by all as "Becky" joined her family in heaven. Born in the year of our Lord of 6 June,1936, in Sands Creek, Hancock, NY and was loved by her family and will truly be missed.Evaline (Becky) worked for Becton Dickinson in Hancock for over 25 years where she retired to live out her life in her beloved home. Evaline was also a fighter for the Read Memorial Hospital. Evaline is survived by 3 daughters, Kathleen and Dale Miller, Forest City, NC, Linda and Stephen Fellows, Little River, SC, and Penny Francis, and Alex Reid of Sanford, NC, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Isabelle and Edward Sharp, 2 brothers, Ronald Sharp and Christian Sharp, 1 sister, Joan Badham, and 1 granddaughter, Mandy Lee Miller.Evalines daughters would like to praise and give thanks to the Town of Hancock Ambulance and a special thank you to the Delaware Valley Hospital doctors and nurses for their kindness, care, and help.
