Frank P. "Pielo" Possemato, 86, of Hancock, NY, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY after a short illness. He was born on November 23, 1928 in Cadosia, NY, the son of Rocco and Elizabeth (DeSerio) Possemato.Frank married Elizabeth "Duke" Possemato on October 6, 1955 in Hancock, NY, and she predeceased him on December 17, 2012. Frank was a founding member of the Cadosia Valley Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed watching the birds outside his window, was a lover of hunting and fishing, and a big fan of the Yankees and Giants. Frank owned and operated the Do Drop Inn in Cadosia, NY, for over 63 years. Surviving are 2 children, Frank Jr., and Gaiana, 2 grandchildren, Nathan and Carissa, and 1 great granddaughter, Gaiana. He is also survived by 1 sister, Florence Vitale, 1 brother, Rocco Possemato, and many nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by 3 siblings, Ralph, Pat, and Irene. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 11th, 2015 from 7-9PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 12th, 2015 at 10:30AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Hancock, with Father Christopher Welch officiating.
