Gary Paul Hunt, 61, of Lake Como, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly on Friday, January 21, 2022 at home. He was born on August 4, 1960 in Honesdale, PA, the son of Paul and Lillian (Wildenstein) Hunt.Gary graduated from Honesdale High School in 1978 and entered the National Guard and served his country from 1979 to 1988. He was a life-time dairy farmer before he retired late in 2014. He enjoyed deer and rabbit hunting and ice fishing. Youd often find him at a local auction or barn sale. He loved telling hunting stories and stories of the past. He had a great love for his family and friends. Gary was a member of the Tomar Mountain Gun Club for over 30 years. If you knew Gary, you knew his smile, his laugh, his twinkling blue eyes, his kindness to others. Surviving are his brother, Scott Hunt and his wife Kim, his "sister", Michelle Hunt and her husband, Kenny Weber, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his parents.A graveside service will be held in the spring in Stockport Cemetery, Stockport, PA and a celebration of Garys life to be announced at a later date.
