Gary W. Phillips, 79, of Hancock, NY, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at home. He was born on March 14, 1941 in Hancock, the son of Wilbur and Eloise (Leonard) Phillips. Gary married Clara Worzel on November 26, 1963 in Hancock. He worked for Becton Dickinson and retired after 30+ years. He loved taking care of his lawn, fishing, and hunting. Gary was a great, loving husband, father and a friend to many. Surviving are his wife, Clara, 1 son, Lynn, 1 sister, Ruth Miller, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 siblings, James, Ronald Sr., Evelyn Kilmer, and Russell. Donations can be made in Garys memory to the Delaware Valley Humane Society, P.O. Box 182, Sidney, NY, 13838.
