George "Jim" Kuhn, 69, of Hancock, died on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton, after a short illness. He was born on March 12, 1947 in Hancock, the son of James and Goldie Annabell (Hallstead) Kuhn. Jim married Joyce E. Schriver on November 13, 1999 in Hancock. Jim was a proud US Army Vietnam Veteran. He worked several different jobs over the years that included Riverview Cemetery, where he was a groundskeeper and dug graves by hand, Town and Village of Hancock as the dog control officer, and most recently as weigh master at Norbord in Deposit. Jim loved hunting, fishing, and just tinkering outdoors. Surviving are his wife, Joyce E., 2 children, James A. Kuhn and Angel L. Wright,, 4 stepchildren, Melody Soders, Gerrid Bolster Jr., Brenda Reynolds, and Rose Bolster, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Jim is also survived by 1 sister, Geraldine Sears, 1 niece, Amy Kerwin, 1 nephew, Christopher Sears, many cousins, and many great friends. As per Jim's request, cremation took place and services will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
