George Stephen Polomcean Jr. passed away into heaven on June 8, 2024. He was born on November 25, 1944 to George Sr. and Dorothy Polomcean of East Branch, NY.

George was a devoted father, lover of life, and an extremely hard worker. He loved his family and was often selfless throughout his lifetime. George was employed at Celotex Corporation for many years and then retired from Indian Country Blue Stone after 18 years of dedicated service. He loved to work in the quarry, which he did for many years, and loved to reminisce about it. George enjoyed sitting on the back porch, in the sunshine, listening to birds and he loved classic muscle cars. He was a dedicated Yankee fan and rooted for them right until the end.

George was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, John and Jim Polomcean.

Surviving are 5 children: Tina (Jim) Weyrauch, Mitzi Bailey, Scott (Kim) Polomcean, Dawn Ferris, and George Polomcean III; his devoted companion, Cindy Fairbairn; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Fred, Maryann, Rosemary, Cindy, Darlene, Chuck, Laurie, Ron, Don, and Tom; and many nieces and nephews.

George's wishes were for cremation and a celebration of life will be held at a later time.
