George J. Rogers, 70, of Readburn, died on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at home. He was born on May 11, 1945, the son of Forrest and Janet (Young) Rogers. George married Vickie Bullis on September 18, 1971. He worked for the Town of Hancock for many years. Surviving are his wife, Vickie, 4 children, Cherish Rogers, Tara Rogers, Thomas and wife Sarah Rogers, and Samantha Rogers, 5 grandchildren, Paul, Nicholas, Claude, Daniel, and Erica, and 3 great grandchildren, Octavin, Tatsuya, and Caiden. George is also survived by 1 sister, Pam and husband Buster Ebert and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 from 6-8PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. Interment will be private, at a later date.
