Gisela Carla Ludwiga (Schuessling) Cornelius, 81, of Binghamton passed away August 20, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents, Kurt and Ilsa Schuessling; husband, George Cornelius; and son, Gregory Cornelius. She is survived by her son, George (Kathleen) Cornelius; daughter, Laura (Norman) Rhinehart; daughter in law, Stacy Cornelius; grandchildren, Margaret (Stefan) Casey, George Cornelius, Brittany and Erik Rhinehart, Ashlie and Kaila Cornelius; and great grandchildren, Ilsa and Owen Cornelius. A special thanks to the staff of Ideal Senior Living Center, especially Dr. Ponton and Erika Mallory for their kindness and compassion.
