Gloria K. Brown, 59, of Newville, PA, died on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Forest City Nursing Home after a four and a half year battle with cancer. She was born on January 3, 1965 in Hancock, NY, the daughter of Thomas A. and Alice (Stephens) Sampson.

Gloria's family and friends were everything to her. She had a giving heart and worked in health and patient care most of her life. She adored her husband, children, grandchildren, and her 2 dogs, Flash and Echo. She enjoyed time hunting and fishing at the beaver dam and taking trips in the RV to visit family.

Surviving are her loving husband, Paul; 3 sons: Michael English, Josh (Chandler) Hnatko, and Matthew (Kate); 3 grandchildren: Hampton, Pierson, and Campbell Hnatko; mother, Alice; 2 brothers, Tom Jr. (Mary) Sampson and Mark (Tina) Sampson; 1 sister, Bev (Scott) Burleigh; and many nieces and nephews. Gloria was predeceased by her father, Tom Sr; sister, Doreen Sampson; and 2 nephews, Tommy Sampson and Samuel Rowe III.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 5PM-7PM with a memorial following at 7PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
