Grace M. Conkling, 68, of Long Eddy, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at home. She was born on August 10, 1945 in Newburgh, the daughter of Frank and Claire McCoy. Grace was a housewife and she loved her family. Surviving are her husband, Allen Conkling Sr., 6 children, Lori Worden and significant other, Jeff Baker, Stacy Palmer and significant other, Mike Thomas, Laurinae Conkling, Ilene Conkling and significant other, Robert Hendrickson, Allen Jr. and wife India Conkling, and Anthony Croci and significant other, Tanya Pierce, many grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Grace is also survived by 2 brothers, Harold and Frank Conklin, and several nieces and nephews. As per Grace's request, cremation took place and services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.Donations can be made in Grace's memory to Catskill Area Hospice, 1 Birchwood Dr., Oneonta, NY 13820.
