Harold K. Morgan, Jr, 84, of Hancock, NY, died on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Wilson Medical Center, Johnson, City, NY. He was born on April 23, 1932, in Hancock, NY, the son of Harold K. Sr. and Inez (Hess) Morgan. Harold married Mary Possemato on December 6, 1952 and she predeceased him on April 2, 2014. He was a Veteran in the US Navy. Harold was very active in the Hancock community. He was member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, where he ran the charity Bingo and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Hancock, was a Rotarian, and was recently recognized as a member of the Hancock American Legion Post 289 for 35 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed NASCAR, martini's with his son-in-law, and was proud to be "1st brother". Surviving are 3 children, Patricia and husband Edward Rosas, Vanessa and husband Michael Fitzgerald, and Harold and wife Inga Morgan III, 6 grandchildren, Maria, Laura, Erica, Taylor, Justin, and Amy, and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Eugene and wife Beth Morgan, and Robert and wife Nancy Morgan, and many nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by a grandson, Michael A. Fitzgerald, and 2 brothers, Carl and James. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 6-9PM with the Rosary at 8PM. There will be a funeral mass on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 10:30AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Hancock. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Hancock.
