Heather J. Miner, 42, of Afton, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on February 6, 1980 in Carbondale, PA. Heather loved animals and the outdoors but she especially loved her family. She would go above and beyond for anyone who needed help. Surviving are 2 sons, Colin Conklin and Payton Miner; 4 sisters, Kelly Baer, Melody Pemp, Priscilla Schneider, and Karen DeSantis (Jamie Vanvalkenburgh), 14 nieces and nephews: Sharif, Sybell, Salvator, Selena, Kingston, Cole, Arianna, Jena, Jada, Addie, Parker, Tru, Aspen, and Draven; "Mom", Vickie MacDowall, and partner, Tom Gryziec. Heather was predeceased by her son, Hunter Conklin; niece, Aeriel DeSantis, and "Mom", Linda Vanvalkenburgh. A memorial service to celebrate Heathers life will be held at a later date.
