Ivan G. Wormuth, 74, of Starrucca, PA, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Barnes Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, PA, after a long illness. He was born on May 30, 1942 in Hancock, NY, the son of Donald P. and Mary (Burcavage) Wormuth. Ivan married Eileen Buchanan on July 5, 1969 in Deposit, NY. He enjoyed NASCAR, the outdoors, flowers, and blue birds. His first love was his family, who he loved spending time with and his second love was the stone quarry, where he cut stone for many years. Ivan will be remembered for the stories and jokes he told and his good outlook on life. Surviving are his wife, Eileen, 2 children, Sheila and husband David Russo, Bill and wife Nicole Wormuth, 4 grandchildren, Katie (Matthew Elders), Emily (Joshua Freitas), and Kyle Delamarter, and Victoria Wormuth, 3 great grandchildren, Natalie Elders, and Gianna and Alexandria Freitas. He is also survived by 11 siblings, Viola Dolph, Katherine Torch, Frances Wormuth, Leonard Wormuth, Kenneth Wormuth, Shirley Provost, David Wormuth, Patricia Froelich, Richard Wormuth, Carolyn Schoonmaker, and Linda Wormuth, and many nieces and nephews. Ivan was predeceased by his parents, 1 brother, Donald (Ducky), and 2 nephews, Jimmy Wormuth and Mike Quick.Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 1-3PM with a funeral service following at 3 all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
