Janet Y. Woodmansee, 91, of Lake Como, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at home. She was born on January 28, 1931, the daughter of Vergil and Marian (Sands) Faigle. Janet married H. Lindy Woodmansee on March 26, 1950 in Hancock, NY. He predeceased her on June 18, 1992. Janet was Lindys partner on their dairy farm, in Lake Como, for many years, where they raised their 5 children. She was a long time member of the Lake Como United Methodist Church as well as a member of the Nakomis Rebekah Lodge #497, for over 70 years. She was a Tax Collector over forty years for Buckingham Township as well as co-owner of the Jericho Dairy Bar. Janet was a formidable card player and a wonderful cook. Surviving are 5 children: James Woodmansee (Kathy), Bruce Woodmansee (Ann), C. Fay Woodmansee (Michele), Luke Woodmansee, and Linda McGraw (Smokey); 8 grandchildren: James Woodmansee, Alan Woodmansee, Shelly Jonas, Scott Woodmansee, Brad Woodmansee, Kristin Nebzydoski, Craig Woodmansee, and Lindsay McGraw; and 12 great grandchildren: Brianna Woodmansee, Gwyn Nebzydoski, Natalie Woodmansee, Kortney Woodmansee, Olivia Jonas, Haley Jonas, David Jonas, Destinee Plass, Dominique Pelick, Stevie Woodmansee, Wyatt Woodmansee, and Scottie Woodmansee. Janet is also survived by 1 sister, Alaine Mosher, of Starlight, PA, 2 sisters-in-law, Rita Faigle of Windsor, NY, and Carol Faigle of Penn Yan, NY, and several nieces and nephews. Janet was predeceased by brothers Justin Faigle, Graydon Faigle, Ronald Faigle, Vergil Faigle, and her infant sisters, Beverly, and Lela.
