Jay A. Kelly, 75, of Hancock, NY, died suddenly on Sunday, June 29, 2025. He was born in Long Island, NY, on February 26, 1950, the son of Willard and Doris Kelly.

Jay was proud of his longtime painting business and was still working everyday. He loved golfing and he enjoyed time with his friends.

Surviving are his wife, Colleen Gales; 2 children, Candis Vanloan and Jay P. Kelly; 2 grandsons, Conner and Tyler; and several great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Larry and Bill Kelly; and several nieces and nephews. Jay was predeceased by 2 grandsons, Jesse Vanloan and Patrick Carey; and great grandson, Odin Vanloan.

Jay's wishes were for cremation and a visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 from 5-7PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock, NY.
