Jeffrey L. Drumm, 60, of Hancock, NY, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, after a short illness. He was born on January 31, 1958 in Hancock, NY, the son of Robert and Betty (Charles) Drumm. Jeff married Leticia Eck on March 7, 1981 in Cadosia, NY. He was a member of the Hancock Fire Department for over 40 years and a past Fire Chief. He enjoyed hanging Christmas lights and most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. His grandkids described their pop as really funny and unpredictable! Surviving are his wife, Tish, 4 children, Mandy (Jerry), Sidney, NY, Jeff (Cheryl), Lake Como, PA, Chad (Lisa), New Milford, PA, and Brady (Danielle), Hancock, NY, and 10 grandchildren, Dylan, Kyle, Madison, Kelsey, Paislee, Greyson, Keira, Ryan, Ariela, and Caden. Jeff is also survived by 4 siblings, Scott and Sharon Drumm, Connie and Paul Vetrone, Brian and JoAnn Drumm, and Sherri Drumm, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, mother in law, Patricia Eck, father in law, Richard William Eck, and his niece, Nicole Vetrone. A funeral procession will be starting at the Hancock Central High School on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1PM and end at the Hancock Fire Hall where a memorial service will begin at 1:30PM.
