Jesse Lee Vanloan, 39, of Hancock, NY, died suddenly on Sunday, March 12, 2023. He was born on February 17, 1984 in Walton, NY, the son of Gordon and Candis (Kelly) Vanloan.

Jesse worked most recently as a senior solar installer; something that he was proud of. He enjoyed art and being outdoors, especially in the Catskills. He always called Hancock his home, no matter where life took him. Sands Creek was his favorite place to be.

Surviving are his fiancé, Hope Gerchman, 7 children: Liberty Gerchman Vanloan, Duke Vanloan, Aryana Ceballos, John Gerchman, Madison Gerchman, Gabriel Gerchman, and Chase Shramko; parents, Gordon Vanloan and Candis Vanloan; biological father and step mother, Chris and Jen DeProspo; 2 half sisters, Gabriella and Malorie; half brother, Joshua; paternal grandparents, Ray and Marilyn Wormuth; maternal grandfather, Jay Kelly; uncle, Jay Kelly; and close cousin, Brandie Lee. Jesse was predeceased by his son, Odin Storm Vanloan; maternal grandmother, Judy Smith; and his brother, Patrick Carey.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 3PM-5PM followed by a time of sharing at 5 PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
